Welcome to Hoffman Eyecare, and thank you for visiting our new online home. Whether you're a longtime patient, someone new to the practice, or just researching optometrists in the Westfield area, we're glad you're here.

If you've never been to Hoffman Eyecare, this post is a quick introduction — who we are, what we do differently, and what you can expect when you walk through our doors.

Personal, Unhurried Care

Most eye care today feels rushed. Patients get 15 minutes with a doctor they've never met, a quick refraction, and a handoff to an optical rep. That's not what we do.

At Hoffman Eyecare, every visit is one-on-one with Dr. Taylor Hoffman. You'll have time to ask questions, understand your results, and talk through your options — whether that's a routine exam, a dry eye consultation, or a discussion about your child's changing prescription.

We're a smaller practice by design. That's not a limitation — it's the whole point.

Advanced Technology, Practical Application

Being a small independent practice doesn't mean skimping on technology. We've invested in tools that actually change how we care for patients:

  • Eidon Retinal Camera — captures a wide-field, high-resolution image of the back of your eye, helping us detect diabetic changes, macular issues, and other conditions earlier than traditional methods

  • InMode Envision IPL & Radiofrequency — advanced dry eye treatment that targets the root cause of inflammation, not just the symptoms

  • Olleyes VisuALL VR Visual Field — a modern, comfortable alternative to the traditional bowl-style visual field machines used for glaucoma screening and monitoring

You'll see this equipment during your visit, and we're always happy to explain what it's showing us and why it matters.

Independent Eyewear You Won't See Everywhere Else

Our optical isn't stocked with the same corporate frames you'll find at every chain. We've curated a collection of independent brands — American Optical, Eco, Eyes of Faith, MODO, Morel, Ovvo, SALT, and STATE — plus Maui Jim sunglasses.

These are brands built by designers who care about materials, craftsmanship, and often, giving back. When you pick out a frame at Hoffman Eyecare, you're getting something with character — and often, something that supports a meaningful cause.

Rooted in Westfield

Hoffman Eyecare opened in December 2024 with a simple goal: to be the eye care practice this community deserves. Dr. Hoffman grew up in central Indiana, and this practice is our commitment to serving the families of Westfield and the surrounding communities for the long haul.
